THE VINEYARDS
Our wines come from approximately 125 Ha. 70% is
our own production, while 30% comes from other vine growers in the area.
Our vines cover around 85 Ha., 65 of which are concentrated in Larraga (Ribera
Alta) and 20 on small farms in San Martín (in the Lower Mountain region)
and Olite.
Exhaustive control is kept at all phases of the vineyard,
combining traditional practices with new technologies to control the production.
With regards to the type of grape, in order to expand the catalogue of bottled
wines and for greater possibilities as far as aging, we grow traditional
varieties such as Tempranillo,
Garnache and Graciano, which we combine with other
new varieties of renowned prestige and that adapt well to the terrain, such
as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for red wines and Chardonnay for white wines. We
have also recovered Moscatel de Grano Menudo (Small-berried Moscatel), for
sweet wines.
