WOMEN WHO WORK FOR WINE
Founded in 1990 by the married couple Janices-Marco, a family
with a great wine tradition, we started with a capacity of 400,000
liters which we used to create the first vintage of young red and rosé wines
from our own grapes, and with the support of the Moriones
family. These first wines were sold on the local market.
These auspicious beginnings meant the need to expand the winery. We
started work in 1998, increasing our capacity to 1,200,000 l. stored at
the winery, installing a bottling plant and incorporating 180 French and
American oak casks.
Two women are the heart and soul of
this winery: María Luisa Marco,
and María Luisa Janices. Beramendi
wines, cared for from the vines
themselves are the fruit of their
efforts in management and
preparation.
We are two women, all wine-lovers, who opted to put all our sensitivity and knowledge into the creation of unique, simple and quality wines. We belong to the Navarran Winery Association and all our wines are backed by the Navarra Appellation of Origin Regulatory Council.
